ART 4352 Advanced Digital Design and Fabrication
This project was created to express the art of games, not just the visual art of graphics or gameplay, but the art of experience and memory. Many argue over whether or not video games as a medium count as art, the answer ranging from person to person depending upon their age and experiences. This piece is a puzzle, meant to be put together by two or more people. The puzzle in itself is a game, meant to challenge the players as they work to build images from two well known games, Halo and Little Big Planet. Memories of playing the games and experiencing them with friends are what make games art, the emotion behind them creates a link between the player and the game that is unique.
